Meet The Teachers

Danielle
Founder & Owner
Ever since she was young Danielle had dreamed of opening her own oasis. She has always a passion for health and wellness and found Pavana Yoga in 2016.
She was introduced to yoga through her father in 2008, and has been practicing ever since. As she dove deeper into her yoga practice, she felt the positive effects not only physically but mentally, spiritually and learned how to carry that feeling off the mat.
After studying business and management at Monmouth University she continued her studies in nutrition and yoga. She became a health coach through the Institute of Integrated Nutrition, and a certified yoga teacher in one of the world's top yoga school's in Costa Rica. She starting teaching at the beach on the Jersey shore and was known for bringing enlightenment to those who attended her classes, after that summer she decided to follow her calling and open her own space.
Her goal is to have students leave class feeling rejuvenated and lighter than when they arrived. Guiding students to build strength and flexibility in the body and stillness in the mind. She uses her knowledge and tools to help others reach their health & wellness goals. Danielle's main mission is to bring healing to your mind, body & spirit so that you can live your life to it's fullest.

When Danielle is not teaching you can find her scuba diving, hiking or spending time at the beach with her husband and family.

Alex
Alex began practicing yoga during college as an avenue for stress and anxiety relief. Quickly, she learned about asana sequences and breath techniques that were benefiting both mind and body. Alex enjoys focusing on alignment, balance, and breath. She pursued a 200 RYT certification in efforts to spread the joy that yoga has given her.
Alex's favorite poses are Wild Thing and Stargazer because I love the elongation in her back. Outside of yoga, Alex is an accountant who enjoys hiking, beach days, cooking, and live music.
