Meet The Teachers

Founder & Owner

Ever since she was young Danielle had dreamed of opening her own oasis. She has always a passion for health and wellness and found Pavana Yoga in 2016.

She was introduced to yoga through her father in 2008, and has been practicing ever since. As she dove deeper into her yoga practice, she felt the positive effects not only physically but mentally, spiritually and learned how to carry that feeling off the mat.

After studying business and management at Monmouth University she continued her studies in nutrition and yoga. She became a health coach through the Institute of Integrated Nutrition, and a certified yoga teacher in one of the world's top yoga school's in Costa Rica.  She starting teaching at the beach on the Jersey shore and was known for bringing enlightenment to those who attended her classes, after that summer she decided to follow her calling and open her own space.

Her goal is to have students leave class feeling rejuvenated and lighter than when they arrived. Guiding students to build strength and flexibility in the body and stillness in the mind. She uses her knowledge and tools to help others reach their health & wellness goals. Danielle's main mission is to bring healing to your mind, body & spirit so that you can live your life to it's fullest.

When Danielle is not teaching you can find her scuba diving, hiking or spending time at the beach with her husband and family.

Autumn Perez is a certified FlorYoga Yoga Alliance 300 RYT, and graduate of FlorYoga's Pre/Postnatal advanced Teacher Training RPYT, a Power Pilates instructor, Corporate Yoga instructor (Self-Reboot TT), Chakra TT (Laughing Lotus) and contemporary dancer/choreographer. Autumn studied and performed dance for many years and holds a B.F.A. in Dance from Montclair State University.  Having been integrated in the physical fitness world for many years, she was led to the mat post college as she entered the "real world."  Yoga allowed her to find peace and purpose during a transitional time in her life and ultimately decided that her path was to become a yoga instructor.

Autumn loves guiding yogis through yoga practice, allowing healing and space for students to grow and learn more about themselves along their personal journey.  In her classes you'll move through a well rounded amalgamation of exercise and yoga poses geared to invigorate the body, nourish the mind, and awaken the spirit.

Catch Autumn on the mat at Pavana in-studio on Thursdays & Saturdays and via Pavana’s new On Demand platform!

She is passionate about healing people mind, body, and spirit and compassion for all beings is the cornerstone of her practice. She is eternally grateful to her beautiful teachers, along with the brave children she works with every day, who are unquestionably her greatest teachers in this lifetime.

Alex began practicing yoga during college as an avenue for stress and anxiety relief. Quickly, she learned about asana sequences and breath techniques that were benefiting both mind and body. Alex enjoys focusing on alignment, balance, and breath. She pursued a 200 RYT certification in efforts to spread the joy that yoga has given her.

Alex's favorite poses are Wild Thing and Stargazer because I love the elongation in her back. Outside of yoga, Alex is an accountant who enjoys hiking, beach days, cooking, and live music.

Malka first found her practice in 2015 while working a stressful corporate job in NYC. She didn't come from an athletic background and was very hesitant before taking her first yoga class. Initially it was extremely difficult for her to let go, but once she did it completely changed her life. Two years after her first class,

Malka completed her 200hr RYT in April of 2017, she went on to pursue her 300hr RYT, completing a 25hr Restorative training, 25hr Trauma Informed Training, 50hr Meditation + Pranayama training, 25hr Bhagavad Gita training, and 25hr Therapeutic Essentials training.”

Malka creates dynamic yet accessible yoga sequences set to carefully crafted playlists. She offers modifications to accommodate all yoga practitioners and encourages her students to focus on their breath and alignment. She’s dedicated to bringing the practice of yoga to others and looks forward to seeing you on the mat!
